Braves 2, Cubs 0: Ryan Doumit's pinch-hit double in the seventh snapped a scoreless tie as host Atlanta edged Chicago for the second straight night.Doumit's deep drive to the base of the left-field wall plated Chris Johnson, who finished 2-for-3 as the Braves won for the third time in four games. Ervin Santana (4-0) pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing five hits while striking out seven, and Craig Kimbrel notched his 10th save.Chicago starter Jeff Samardzija held the Braves in check with six scoreless innings, striking out seven and allowing just two hits.
