2015: Attorney and author Vincent Bugliosi, best known for prosecuting Charles Manson and other defendants accused of the Tate-LaBianca murders, dies of cancer at the age of 80 in a Los Angeles hospital. He co-wrote the best-selling book "Helter Skelter" about the Manson trial and has written several other books, including "And the Sea Will Tell," "Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy" and "The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder."
