2015: R&B and soul singer Percy Sledge, best known for the 1966 No. 1 hit "When a Man Loves a Woman," dies of liver cancer at age 74 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sledge was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.
