SALINAS, Calif. -

UPDATE 8/11/16 8:14 AM: Police are investigating two shooting scenes in Salinas.

The first happened just before  8 p.m. on Harden Parkway near Regency Circle. Police say a 24-year-old man was approached by two male adults. He was shot multiple times and ran to the shopping center where police found him. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspects may have fled in a brown 90's model Nissan Sentra.

Shortly after, police say a 16-year-old boy was walking across Williams Road toward McDonald's when shots were fired, missing him.

Two cars in the drive-thru were struck and another bullet shattered the McDonald's drive-thru window, just missing a worker.

The suspect vehicle has been described as a grey extended cab pickup, possibly a Chevy. Police believe it sped away southbound on Williams Road.

The first happened just before  8p.m. on Harden Parkway near Regency Circle. Police say a 23 year old man was shot multiple times and ran to the shopping center where police found him. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The second happened about 10 minutes later on the 600 block of Williams Road at the McDonald's. Two cars were hit with bullets in the drive-thru, but no one was hurt. Williams Road between Bardin Way and Del Monte was shut down and so was the McDonald's.

At this point police don't have any suspect information in either shooting. If you have any information you're asked to call police.
