GREENFIELD, Calif. -

Two people have been arrested for three armed robberies in Monterey County.

Greenfield Police said a search warrant was served at two locations in Soledad and one in Salinas on Friday, August 19th. That led to the arrest of Julian Gasca and his girlfriend Kimberly Shackelford.

According to police, the two are responsible for robberies at three gas stations in the cities of Greenfield, Gonzales and Monterey.

Gasca had been released from prison earlier this year and then committed the armed robberies.

Gasca is facing several charges including armed robbery, attempted armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime.

His girlfriend was arrested as an accomplice. Two vehicles were also recovered with the evidence.

The Greenfield Police Department worked with the Peninsula Regional Violence and Narcotics Team on the investigation and arrest of Gasca. The Soledad Police Department also helped in the search warrant service operations.
