CENTRAL COAST, Calif. -

A California fire incident management team will be taking over command on the Soberanes Fire, according to a Soberanes Fire Public Information Officer.

For the past 21 days a Alaska incident management team has been in charge. The California team is shadowing Monday and will be in command by Tuesday. This new team is said to be very familiar with the area the fire is burning.
