MARINA, Calif. -

After the Marina City Council just accepted a $275,000  movie theater proposal, they are now checking out a $1 million for a proposed hotel.

The incentive would essentially involve waiving impact, permit and plan-check fee up front. There would also be a payback to the city, once the hotel is actually built.

The proposed hotel would go in the Dune Development and this is just one of the city's three major project proposals for the former Fort Ord land.
