UPDATE 8/3/2016 11:15 AM: Seaside Police have identified Jose Sobalbarro Zeledon, 32, as the suspect in a series of armed robberies that occurred in July. Police say Zeledon goes by several other names, including Guillermo Sanchez, Guillermo Zeledon and Guillermo Morales.
He is currently wanted in Tulare County on a $250,000 felony warrant for multiple armed robberies and a sexual assault committed during a carjacking. Tulare County has also issued a $25,000 misdemeanor warrant on drug violations.
Police believe Zeledon may still be in Monterey County, possibly hiding among the homeless population.
Zeledon is considered armed and dangerous. Police say anyone who sees Zeledon or knows of his whereabouts should not contact him directly. Instead, call 911 or contact the Seaside Police Department.

PREVIOUS STORY: The Seaside Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding an armed robbery suspect.
According to police, a person wanted for a series of robberies may be a man named Guillermo Sanchez Zeledon. They believe the suspect is in his 30’s. Police have not confirmed the name, but they do have pictures of the suspect confirmed by several witnesses.
“Guillermo” may be responsible for a string of armed robberies in July. During each robbery, police said the suspect had a knife or would press a hard object against his victims’ bodies and demand money.
The suspect spoke fluent Spanish during all of the robberies. He used several different names and investigators are still trying to determine his real name.
Police said during one of the incidents, the suspect held a four-year-old child at knife point and threatened to hurt the child if anyone called police.
The suspect's girlfriend who is also considered a suspect is in custody. Officers arrested Rebecca Ogarrio Thursday night on five counts of armed robbery after getting tips from the community.
Several members of the community identified Rebeca Ogarrio from surveillance video pictures released by police on social media.
“Guillermo” is considered armed and dangerous. He has been known to frequent Salinas and Peninsula cities.
