Position: Business Analyst / HR Coordinator
Location: Monterey / Salinas, CA
KION TV, is looking for an experienced Accounting/HR professional to fill a Business Analyst/HR Coordinator position. The Business Analyst/HR Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the financial and human resources functions of this multi-station operation with the corporate office.
Some of the Business Analyst responsibilities include, cash management, forecast and budget preparation, commission calculations, invoice review and coding, providing assistance in preparing monthly financial statements, and performing other accounting related functions when needed.
Some of the Human Resource responsibilities include, acting as on-site Human Resource liaison between station employees and Corporate HR, assisting in employee matters when necessary, collection and submission of weekly payroll information to corporate HR, conducting new hire orientations, coordination and data entry of employee benefits, posting and EEO tracking of all open positions to ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations as well as performing other HR related duties when needed.
The desired candidate has working knowledge of basic accounting fundamentals and human resources, and is adept at maintaining confidentiality in all situations. Candidate should be a highly-organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable, team player, with strong interpersonal skills, as well as, demonstrated abilities in managing multiple deadlines consistently.
This position requires strong computer skills, specifically using MS Office products, a degree in Management or Business Administration, as well as Human Resource experience, and knowledge of state employment laws.
Successful candidate must pass a drug test and background check.
