SALINAS, Calif. -

A fourth person was shot over the weekend in Salinas overnight, according to the Salinas Police Department.

It all happened around 1:00 am Monday in the area of Sanborn and Market. Police say a person told them a man was seen walking on N. Sanborn Road bleeding from his neck.

Officers arrived to the scene to find a 19-year-old male walking with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to NMC's trauma unit for treatment. His wounds are not life threatening.

Police say the victim was uncooperative and would only say that he had been walking on E. Market Street when he was approached by an unknown male.
The shooting does appear to be gang related.
