WATSONVILLE, Calif. -

The Santa Cruz County Fair kicks off today (Wednesday) at 12:00 p.m.

This year's theme is Cows, Plows and Wows. Growing year to year, organizers say the 2016 Santa Cruz County Fair will have something for everyone. This year’s fair will have livestock competitions, live music, many different performers, including the comedy act of "Captain Jack Spareribs,"  and much more.

The Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds are located at 2601 East Lake Avenue in Watsonville.
