Santa Cruz Woman Held in Apartment and Sexually Abused

SANTA CRUZ, Calif- A Santa Cruz couple and their friend is accused of helping to sexually batter a woman in their apartment last weekend.

Krystal Lynne Rojas, Sovreign McCarthy, and Jonathan Kealy have all been arrested on suspicion of felony false imprisonment, battery, and sexual penetration with foreign object by force.

According to police spokesman Zach Friend, the 23 year-old victim was out with three aqaintances on Friday. When they returned to the couple's apartment that is when the alleged abuse took place.

The victim says that she was held against her will in the apartment and then the suspects bit her and sexually abused her.

Police arrested 22 year-old Rojas on Monday. McCarthy and Kealy turned themselves in to police Tuesday night.
