Hugo RodriguezSALINAS, Calif- A man who was wanted in a 2008 child molestation case and fled to Mexico has been arrested Tuesday afternoon.
The Violence Suppression Unit received information about that 24 year-old Hugo Rodriguez was at a residence on the 200 Block of Paloma Avenue. Rodriguez was wanted for multiple counts of child molestation from a 2008 case.
Officers set up a perimeter around the residence and took Rodriguez into custody without incident, police say.
Rodriguez was booked into the Monterey County Jail for the outstanding child molestation warrant.
