Hollister, Calif-- Members of the San Benito School Board approved about $1.5 million in budget cuts late Monday night.
The board unanimously approved the cuts for the 2010-2011 school year. They include eliminating teaching jobs and slashing funding for athletics.
Dozens of parents and students showed up to protest the decision.
