Michelle Pulido is a native of the Central Coast. She was born in Santa Barbara and raised in the small town of Lompoc.
Her parents came to the United States illegally and worked day and night to provide for Michelle, her older brother and sister. Michelle’s parents, taught her to never give up on her dreams and to pursue a higher education, something Armando and Rosa Pulido never got a chance to do. However, they did get a piece of that American dream they were seeking. Michelle’s parents were able to become U.S. citizens.
In 2010, Michelle graduated with honors from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Scarlet and Gray Everyday! Go Rebels!
Michelle has never forgotten her Mexican heritage and continues to grow everyday as a reporter for Telemundo 23 and Central Coast News. Yes, you read it correctly, she reports in Spanish too.
The 26-year-old loves breaking news and hopes that one day she’ll make it big and make her parents proud of her accomplishments.
In her spare time, she loves to catch up on her novelas, go shopping, spend time with her adorable nieces in Lompoc and visit her sister and niece in Las Vegas.
