Student Dies From Gun Shots at Alisal High School - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

SALINAS, Calif- Police say 15-year-old Jose Cisneros died after being shot in a gang-related shooting on an Alisal High School athletic field off of Burke Street.

Witnesses say that they heard 3 to 4 shots around 8 AM. Police told Central Coast News that Cisneros was a student at the high school and he was walking to school when he was shot multiple times by one person.

There were several witnesses to the shooting and there were surveillance cameras in the area.

Police believe that this shooting was gang related. The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion wearing a red bandana.

There was a high school football game between Hollister and Alisal Friday night but it has been moved to San Benito High School, school officials said.
