MONTEREY, Calif. - Sheriff's deputies arrested Thursday a man suspected of attacking a woman with his car; a search of his car revealed a large amount of prescription drugs and money.
Just before midnight Thursday, a woman called 9-1-1 to report her car was rammed by another car near the intersection of Via Mirada and Iris Canyon; deputies confirmed the driver of the car, William Curtis, Jr., 57, of Carmel, had a warrant for his arrest.
Investigators believe the drugs and money found are consistent with the intent to sell; the assault with the vehicles was deemed unfounded.
